Official Synopsis of "Tangled up in Blue" (1.03)

After discovering interesting news about someone of Marcel's close friends, Klaus and Rebekah join to try to unravel the Marcel's empire from the inside, despite Elijah's concerns. They enrolled the help of Sophie, who is reluctant to get involved for fear of the wrath of Marcel's weapon secret, Davina. Rebekah secretly invites Cami to a great vampire festival, organized by Marcel, causing his ira. Elsewhere, Hayley learns from Sabine that New Orleans supernatural creatures are reacting to the possible existence of a hybrid baby. Chris Grismer directed the episode written by Ashley Lile and Bar Nickerson.

A throwback to the Decade of 1800 - when Rebekah (Claire Holt) comes to New Orleans at the insistence of his brother Elijah (Daniel Gillies), she meets Hayley (Phoebe Tonkin), who gives an unexpected news. Concerned that his brother Klaus is all good, Rebekah seeks reluctant help from Sophi (Daniella Pineda). In the end, Hayley takes the matter into their own hands, but things quickly take a dangerous turn. Determined to uncover the secret weapon of Marcel (Charles Michael Davis), Klaus stays one step ahead and executes his plan. Meanwhile, after a meeting with Marcel, Rebekah remembers all the anger and disappointment that Klaus le to caused over the years. Finally, Marcel enlists Davina (Danielle Campbell) to help it in its dangerous plan. Leah Pipes also stars in. Brad Turner directed the episode written by Diane Ademu-John and Declan de Barra.
